A Greater Death looks like a flying skeletton consisting of adamant without legs or abdomen. It is constantly flying and carries a black scythe. It has no eyes, but there is a red glow within it’s eye sockets.

Greater Death never speak. They understand any language.

A greater death’s weapon overcome any damage reduction of beings with less than divine rank 1.

Combat

  • Dark Grace (Su): A greater death applies his Charisma modifier as a bonus on all saving throws and as a deflection and insight bonus to his armor class.
  • Death Scythe (Su): Every greater death can summon an adamant scythe into his hands as a free action. The scythe of a greater death is treated as having a magical +5 bonus, when wielded by him. To anyone else who is wielding it, it is a normal adamant scythe. This is a power of the greater death, not the weapon.
  • Death Aura (Ex): No healing magic is working within 20 feet radius of a greater death. This also means, that an undead can not restore health through a inflict or similar spell.
  • Final Judgement (Ex): Anyone killed by greater death can only be brought back to life through divine intervention. No mortal means can raise a character killed by a greater death.
  • Spell-Like Abilities(Sp): At will— darkness, dimension door, energy drain, enervation, etherealness, greater dispel magic, greater teleport, plane shift, wail of the banshee. Caster level 24th; save DC 20 + spell level. The save DCs are Charisma-based.
  • Undead Traits: Immune to poison, sleep, paralysis, stunning, disease, death, effects, necromantic effects, mind-affecting effects, and any effect requiring a Fortitude save unless it also works on objects. Not subject to critical hits, subdual Damage, ability Damage, ability drain, or energy drain. Negative energy heals. Not at risk of death from massive Damage, but destroyed at 0 hit points or less. Darkvision 60 ft. Cannot be raised; resurrection works only if creature is willing.
