This humanoid is slender and shorter than a human. Its skin is jet black, but glistens like a starry night sky, and its hair is silvery white like the moonlight

 

Only recently presenting the world with the first adults, es’drallin are the planetouched results of the intermingling bloodlines of good-aligned drow and eladrins affiliated with a drow deity patronizing resentment of evil ways, called Eilistraee.

Most es’drallin are decidedly good aligned, strife to further the resentment of the drows’ evil ways and help defected dark elves with shelter and protection.

Combat

Es’drallin fight fair whenever they can, but are not above retreating to tricks and cunning if the necessity arises, for they are aware that their main enemies, evil drow, can’t be defeated with chivalrous behavior.

Some foes, in most es’drallins opinions, have not deserved mercy.

However, es’drallin almost never use poison.

Es’drallin Traits (Ex): These traits are the same as the drow traits except were noted

-+2 Dex, -2 Con, +2 Int, +2 Wis, +2 Cha. This trait replaces the drow’s racial ability score adjustments.

- Weapon Proficiency: Es’drallins have no special weapon proficiencies. This trait replaces the drow's weapon proficiencies.

- Spell-like Abilities: 1/day – dancing lights, faerie fire, stars of arvandor*. Effective caster level equals the es’drallins class level.

- Automatic Languages: Common, Elven, Celestial, Undercommon. Bonus Languages: Abyssal, Draconic, Drow Sign Language, Gnome, Sylvan. This trait replaces the drow’s automatic and bonus languages.

- Level Adjustment: +2

- Favored Class: Ranger. This trait replaces the drow’s favored class.

*from Book of Exalted Deeds; if you do not possess that book, use searing light instead.

Challenge Rating: Es’drallin with levels in NPC classes have a CR equal to their character level. Es’drallin with levels in PC classes have a CR equal to their character level +1.
