You see a person appearing gaunt and sickly, with pale skin, hollow cheeks and sunken, weary and sore-looking eyes.

This individual is clad in a breastplate and armed with a heavy mace.

Rumors may tell about horrible undead, that can procreate with the living, but even if not true, intense conversing with undead or suffusion with negative energy may change mortals in the course of generations sufficiently to beget deathtouched offspring.

Deathtouched appear as humans with the aura of beings that have crossed the boundaries to the beyond and come back hardened and wizened in mind and psyche. They seem sickly and pallid and darkly fascinating, and are usually of a gaunt or lean built, although some can appear spongy and bloated.

Deathtouched are a macabrous lot, usually filled with a love for the morbid and sepulchral. Being infused by the force of death itself, deathtouched rarely display fear.

Deathtouched speak Common.

Combat

Deathtouched love to unsettle and unnerve their enemies with their appearance and behavior.

Being usually slow to react, deathtouched prefer blunt and heavy weapons, though this is not always so.

Chill Touch (Sp): A deathtouched can use chill touch once per day as a 2nd-level-caster or a caster of his class level+1, whichever is higher. The save DC is Charisma-based and is 10 for the deathtouched described in the statistics above.

Necromantic Enhancement (Ex): All spells of the necromancy school cast by a deathtouched are cast at +1 caster level.

Resistance to Negative Energy (Ex): If an attack based on negative energy does hit point damage (For example, inflict light wounds) it does 5 points of damage less to a deathtouched.

Furthermore, a deathtouched gains a +1 racial bonus on saving throws against paralysis, death effects, ability drain, energy drain, fear effects and damage to their physical ability scores.

This bonus rises to +2 on 4th level, +3 on 8th level, +4 on 12th level and +5 on 16th level.

Skills: A deathtouched gains a +2 racial bonus on Intimidate checks. A deathtouched can opt to use his Charisma modifier for Concentration checks instead of his Constitution modifier.

The deathtouched warrior presented here had the following ability scores before adding racial adjustments: Str 13, Dex 11, Con 12, Int 10, Wis 9, Cha 8
